Payment & Refund Policy
At Sihala Concepts, we maintain a strict no-refund policy for our software development services and products. This policy is established because:
- Our services involve customized software development based on specific client requirements
- Significant resources, time, and expertise are invested in each project
- Development work begins immediately upon payment receipt
All payments are to be made in advance or as per the agreed payment schedule in the project contract. Any dispute regarding payments must be raised within 7 days of the invoice date.
Privacy Policy
Sihala Concepts is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your information:
- We collect only necessary information required for project execution and communication
- Your data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent
- We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information
- Client project details and source code are kept strictly confidential
- We may use non-identifying project information for our portfolio and marketing purposes
Terms and Conditions
As a sole proprietorship registered in Sri Lanka, Sihala Concepts operates under the following terms:
- All software development services are provided on a project basis with clearly defined scope and deliverables
- Project timelines and milestones are estimates and may be subject to change based on project complexity and client feedback
- Intellectual property rights for custom software transfer to the client only upon full payment
- We retain the right to use general knowledge and techniques learned during project development
- Clients are responsible for providing necessary content, access, and feedback within agreed timeframes
- Any modifications to project scope must be agreed upon in writing and may affect timeline and pricing
Service Warranty
We provide a 30-day warranty period for bug fixes after project completion. This warranty:
- Covers only functionality specified in the original project scope
- Does not include new feature development or enhancements
- Requires prompt reporting of issues with clear documentation
- Excludes issues caused by third-party services or client modifications
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services shall be resolved through:
- Initial friendly consultation between parties
- Mediation if necessary
- Legal proceedings under Sri Lankan law if other methods fail
These policies and terms are effective as of January 1, 2024, and may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
